VANGEN 21-004 - HMCS Pscyhe Reinactors

The following opportunity to engage with members of Toronto's Maritime Community has opened up, and is in support of the POX26 training taken in the last training year. This is not a Cadet activity, and anyone interested would be participating independently:

HMS Pscyhe is offering Open House Cruises on July 11 2021!

Experience rowing and sailing on board HMS Psyche! This event is designed to give people who are interested in sailing aboard the boat a chance to try it out. Two four-hour cruises are being offered, 8:00 am-12:00 pm and 2:00 pm-6:00pm. Spaces are limited to 2 persons per cruise. Book your spot today!

Participants will have the chance to row and sail the boat. These are working cruises so expect a hands-on experience with full participation from launching the boat to recovering the boat and squaring away. Participants must be 18 years or older, or 16 years old with a legal guardian.

Our standard COVID safety protocols will be in effect:

  • Questionnaire must be completed prior to getting on the boat

  • Use of hand sanitizer before getting on the boat

  • Masks must be worn on the boat at all times, covering both nose and mouth

  • Participants to remain at their station on the boat at all times to maintain social distancing

  • Provide proof of one or both vaccines

An information package will be provided to participants prior to the date.

To join in, email and indicate your preferred time slot. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
