Weekly Routine Orders 20-038 - CFOne Membership Info

  1. Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers are now welcome to join the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services CFOne Program. This replaces 'military discounts' at many places. A special 'digital tolken' is required to sign up. E-mail 18sea@cadets.gc.ca to get the image, and upload it during the sign-up process at www.cf1fc.ca to become a member. As part of the extended CAF community, you can get access to:

  2. CANEX: Special member pricing, exclusive perks and CANEX Reward points for both in-store and CANEX.ca online purchases.

  3. cfappreciation.ca: countless discounts from events to attractions and much more.

  4. PSP Recreation: a variety of fitness and recreational programs and activities.

  5. Several steps are required before in-house training can take place. The first step is completion of a COVID-19 Awareness Course. All League members, Civilian Volunteers and Cadets to complete the COVID-19 Awareness Course at the following link and e-mail 18sea@cadets.gc.ca when completed: https://portal-portail.cadets.gc.ca/en/CivilianVolunteers/Pages/CivilianVolunteers.aspx

  6. CAF members, please complete the above training through DLN and e-mail the CO for tracking purposes.

  7. If any CAF member, CI, volunteer or Cadet gets tested for COVID-19 they must e-mail 18sea@cadets.gc.ca to inform the Ship's Office.

  8. If any Cadets are performing volunteer activity, we have a method of logging the information now that does not require physically presenting information at the ship's office.   11. The Toronto Warrior's Day parade has been cancelled this year do to Covid-19. A virtual tribute has been set up and can be watched at the following link: https://theex.com/main/entertainment/cne-at-home/special-events/warriors-day-parade

  12. A current list of those permitted to attend in-house training in October is maintained at the following link.   13. A reminder that the deadline for submitting designs for our Cadet Radio Station (CADRADSTA) is due to 18sea@cadets.gc.ca by 15 Sep 2020 (Tomorrow). The Lieutenant Colonel that will be finalizing the badge is back in Canada and is looking forward to seeing the submissions. A copy of his license in Kosovo has been uploaded to the discord server.

  14. We are starting to process new entry applications. If you know of potential applicants, have them e-mail 18sea@cadets.gc.ca to receive an application form.
