VANGEN 26-24 Battle of Atlantic (3 May 26)[In Person]

We have been invited to participate with HMCS York in the Battle of Atlantic commemoration and parade. This event will take place close to HMCS York, so we will participate with them this year.


  • Where: Royal Canadian Legion - Port Credit Branch 82, 35 Front St. N., Mississauga, ON L5H 2E1

  • When: 1100 to 1300

  • Date: 3 May 26

  • Dress:

    • Officer: 1A

    • Cadets: C1

  • OOD: A/SLt Tsang


From the RCL Port Credit Branch 82 location, the parade will march to the Port Credit Cenotaph in Vimy Park, 29 Stavebank Rd., Mississauga, ON L5G 2T5 at 1130, with the ceremony starting at 1200.


If assistance is needed getting to/from the location, buses will be available at HMCS York at 1000 hours. Please note that the roads will be partially closed - due to the Toronto Marathon, access will only be from the east. Please allow extra time to get to HMCS York by vehicle.


Cadets participating will receive credit in PO 108/208 (Attend a Ceremonial Parade) if already not achieved, as well as X20 (CAF Familiarization).


Please e-mail 18sea@cadets.gc.ca if you plan on attending and indicate if you ARE or ARE NOT using the buses at HMCS York to attend the location.
