VANGEN 26-13 Feb Training Report

Please see the following Training Report for all Cadets: Phase Progression Tracker - TY25-26 - VANGEN 26-13


Explanation of results:

Here's what is required to pass the POs that are not complete:

  • X01 - Attend a citizenship activity. Next event may be the Battle of the Atlantic.

  • X02 - Community Service. Attend the Navy League of Canada fundraising. 9 hours required. A shift is about 3-4 hours typically.

  • X03 - Leadership class in Phase I or II. Leadership assignment/appointment evaluation in Phase III or IV.

  • X05 - Sports. Attend a sporting event, or physical fitness event.

  • 108/208 (Phase I or II only) - Drill. Attend a Ceremonial Divisions, Annual Ceremonial Review or other similar parade.

  • X20 - Canadian Forces Familiarization. Next event is 31 Mar with the visit of Lt(N) Lin discussing RMC.

  • X00 - PHASE - Usually held on dates with Ceremonial Divisions. Next date is 24 Mar.

  • X04 - Physical Fitness. See below.

  • 106 - Marksmanship (Phase I only). The training date has passed for this year. Consider attending an Optional Training day with Marksmanship to complete your Cadet Air Rifle Handling examination (Phase I only).

  • 309 - Instructional Technique (Phase III only) - Teach a 15 minute class. Opportunities will exist during ACR preparation.

  • 308 - Drill (Phase III only) - Prepare a Division for parade. Opportunities available on request each parade night.

  • 409 - Instructional Technique (Phase IV only) - Teach a 30 minute class. Assignments will occur in the coming months.

  • E - Composed of any classes from X21, 322, 422, X23, X24, X25 or X26. Attend Op Phoenix Advanced Seamanship Weekend, Boat Maintenance Sessions, Nautical Training Weekend, or any 'Elemental' training during Tuesdays.


For PO XO4:

Phase I or II - Simply submit a tracking sheet for 4 weeks of physical activity. No minimum requirements for fitness.

Phase III - Achieve 16 days of physical fitness of 60 minutes or more over a 4 week period on a tracking sheet.

Phase IV - Achieve 20 days of physical fitness of 60 minutes or more over a 4 week period on a tracking sheet.
